Up for sale we have a pair of used Mk4 Golf rear calipers & a pair of brand new Goodridge conversion brake hoses to convert your MK1, MK2, or MK3 Golf.
The benefits of fitting these later calipers are that you get rid of the commonly seizing earlier calipers, The MK4 calipers are also lighter due to being Aliminium so you also save that bit of weight too!
The calipers are removed from low mileage cars, are tested before removal and are fully working, The Goodridge Kits are Brand new.
The Goodridge hose kit contains 2 x hoses that convert your brake lines to Banjo fittings so the MK4 Calipers bolt straight on your car.
In the case of the MK1 golf they run drums as standard so you will need to convert your axle to accept discs first.
Pre 90 spec MK2 cars may need different handbrake cables but as we have never done this on a pre 90 spec i cannot say 100%
